Our Directors are Chartered Members of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and abide by the IIA Code of Ethics and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, and where applicable the Government Internal Audit Standards.
Mark Barnes - Managing Director

Extensive public/private sector audit and business consultancy experience within retail, maufacturing, defence, and local government. Paul Haley - Director Strategic Operations
CFIIA Chartered Internal Auditor, MSc Audit Management and Consultancy, GIAC, FCMI, FIBC, CMgr Chartered Manager. Extensive public/private sector audit and business consultancy experience, within defence, export credit insurance, leisure & tourism, small business, economic development & regeneration. Inaugural Chair of Welsh District of the Institute of Internal Auditors, former IIA Director on Council & Audit Committee, attends HM Treasury's Small Govt Departments HIA Forum, Chair of Pride In Barry, and a Ministerial-Appointed Member of the Barry Strategic Regeneration Board.

Teresa Preston - Senior Consultant
FCCA Teresa is our Accounting and Advanced Financial Management specialist lecturer. Extensive knowledge and experience in the following: Cashflow maximisation, monitoring, projections and control, overseeing day to day bookkeeping and accounts staff including staff assessments, setting up and maintenance of profit measuring for all departments, preparation of annual and management accounts, budgets, variances and projections.

Ray Clapton - Senior IT Audit Specialist
BSc CEng CITP MBCS MCMI Ray Clapton specialises in the review, implementation and resourcing of key or critical business and systems transformation projects. Ray holds a BSc Degree in Computer Science, is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Member of The British Computer Society, Chartered IT Professional, and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. Ray’s extensive career, especially in Information Technology, spans over 25 years, covering varied positions from the technical roles of programming and systems development to those of strategic operational management.

Bob Boulter - Senior Consultant
LLB MSc MAPM CISA ISEB Bob has 20+ years of senior operational and risk management experience of technical and business environments, IT management processes, information security, systems development, implementation and supplier management. Bob's career has been within IT Audit, as part of the senior Group Audit team at Lloyds Banking Group, HBOS plc., and Halifax plc. Bob has also worked in Cable & Wireless and the Post Office. Recently, Bob has been a lecturer on MSc in Audit Management & Consultancy and has spoken at several Welsh & South West District IIA events. Bob is a member of the Association for Project Management, is an ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor, is ISEB qualified member of the Chartered Institute for IT (formerly the British Computer Society).

Dave Rees - Senior Consultant
MCMI Lic CIPD Dave has worked extensively in the Financial Services sector, having had an established career working at various management levels with Lloyds TSB. Dave is a highly experienced development consultant/facilitator and coach. He chairs panels to assess candidates for the Chartered Manager Award of the Chartered Management Institute. He currently works across a wide range of public and private sector industries helping managers at all levels achieve their strategic and personal objectives. Dave has lectured for Bristol Business College on their Advanced Diploma in Management Studies for the Institute of Commercial Management with 80% of students passing their exams.

John Foulkes - Senior Consultant
BSC (Econ) Hons LLB (Lon Ext) PGCE (Dist) Dip EA, Tech Eng MCIM MIVA John has worked for HSBC, the Automobile Association, South Birmingham College as a Business & Management lecturer, and within Swansea College in a variety of Director and Senior Management Team roles. More latterly, John has woked as an Assessor, and an External Verifier for the Chartered Management Institute. John is a Chartered Manager Assessor and Panelist. John is highly experienced in Qualifications Curriculum Framework Unit writing, Curriculum Mapping, amd NVQ Development with Management Standards Lead Body. John is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Internal Verifiers Association.
