BHBi Establishes New Zealand Training Operations

BHBi, the UK’s leading specialist provider of professional internal audit training, is pleased to announce that it has established a New Zealand business. Trading as BHBi Academy, the New Zealand operations will be providing training at Rotorua and Wellington to cater for both the business sector and administrative public sector.

BHBi Academy has appointed Eifion James, based in Rotorua and originally from Wales, and Jack Shallard as Directors.

Eifion is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors in New Zealand. He possesses a wide range of Finance, Audit and Project Management experience, in both the Public and Corporate Sectors.  In New Zealand, Eifion has held the position of local practice leader in Auckland  for the provision of Risk and Assurance Services for KPMG, and currently he manages the Internal Audit arrangements for a number of clients in the Local Government sector.

Jack is a Chartered Accountant, currently involved in consulting and personal interests. He has a wide background in public accounting (partner in Ernst & Young) and local government (Director Corporate Services, Rotorua District Council). He has also studied Human Rights at the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg.

BHBi Academy will be running a range of courses, including introductory and advanced internal audit courses, ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor CISA training, a variety of bespoke targeted management & leadership modules of the Chartered Management Institute, and additional CPD courses.

Training will be delivered through BHBi’s state of the art online learning system and by its highly professional training teams on face to face block release courses, as well as at its hands-on IT lab.

BHBi Academy is delighted to have already won its first contract to deliver Fraud Workshops to a local government organization in Waikato, New Zealand.
