P7 Case Study Workshop

The aim of this module isassess the student`s understanding of all IIA Diploma modules by analysing a significant case study, and assessing the key issues arising out of the study,
and how they are going to address the issues.
The module is an exam format with exam questions given to the students at the exam session.
The Case Study is made available to the students two weeks prior to the examination.

The Workshop will discuss the key issues arising from the case study and the possible approaches to the issues

• Explain the development of governance, risk and control.
• Evaluate the role and purpose ofinternal audit and the contribution it makes to operational and strategic effectiveness.
• Analyse risks and controls, with particular emphasis on financialactivity and information systems.
• Describe and apply the professional standards for internal audit asrepresented by the InternationalProfessional Practices Framework.
